Unless my customers are completely thrilled with their lovespoons, I have not succeeded as an artist.   As I see it, every spoon I carve, regardless of price, carries my reputation.  Because I survive by word of mouth and by the quality of my work, I cannot ever hide behind excuses or blame anyone else if my work fails in any way.  I guarantee my customers will get the finest workmanship at the fairest price, all backed up with exemplary customer service.

“The first love spoon Dave made for us was a wedding present from Cath to Fred. It was specially designed to tell ‘their story’ and it did it exquisitely! Dave made it with heaps of symbolism, loads of love and great imagination! It is very special to us and takes pride of place in our sitting room.

The second spoon was for Fred’s birthday and was based on his interest in Native American culture. It tells the story of raven and is very special. The carving is extraordinary and it too hangs proudly for all to see.
