Carving Welsh Lovespoons

Learn to woodcarve using a knife and one or two simple and inexpensive tools. This course will use the Welsh lovespoon as project for students to learn basic handcarving skills. Emphasis is on knifework and techniques which allow carvers to enjoy a fulfilling hobby which requires minimal space and equipment. An excellent introduction for both those wishing to try carving and those already familiar with knife carving who wish to master more difficult techniques. Tools will be supplied but if you have your own knife or carving tools, you are encouraged to bring them.
